Useful Accessory

Allows you to use pannier bags whilst keeping top of rack clear for a trunk bag to attach. Very handy and practical solution to the problem of mounting such bags. Good price and value too.

Solves the problem

15mm bars on new bike were too big for the brackets on the bags. The adapter bar works perfectly and as a bonus lowers the bags slightly.

The rack tubing on my bike is about 15mm in diameter and my pannier bags wouldn't work on it because the clips were too small, so I purchased a pair of the adapter bars and my problem was solved! They are extremely good quality and I highly recommend them.

Review

I move my super C panniers between my touring bike and my recumbent trike. The rear racks on each are substantially different mounting tube sizes and configuration. I use these adapter bars on the trike. This allows me to move the panniers back and forth without having to make any adjustments to the pannier hooks.
