At Carradice, we take pride in being a manufacturer of high-quality bags, handcrafting many of our products. 

This allows us to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship. Here’s everything you need to know about our shipping process. At times we may be low on inventory so your order may take longer to ship.

Orders from the USA

Orders to USA shipping cost as shown on check out page includes shipping the product from UK to our California warehouse then onto the customer in USA by UPS ground. It also includes 10% duty and customs clearance costs which are prepaid.

Order Dispatch

UK & Rest of the World
Orders shipped from the UK are typically dispatched within three working days from our warehouse. As we handcraft some parts and products to order, we do not operate a large warehouse with ready-to-ship stock. Instead, our materials are kept protected until they are ready to be precisely cut and sewn into your product.

In the event of any stock issues, we will notify you via email with an estimated dispatch date. At that point, you have the option to amend or cancel your order if necessary.

Orders from the European Union and the US respectively are shipped first to our warehouses in France and the US then shipped onward to the final destination.

Dispatch Methods

  • UK orders under 2kg: Dispatched via Royal Mail 1st Class. For orders over £20 in value, we use Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked.
  • UK orders over 2kg: Shipped using ParcelForce.
  • Orders to ROW [Rest of the World] under 2kg: Sent via Royal Mail Tracked service.
  • Orders to ROW over 2kg: Dispatched via TNT or DHL, based on the best available option.
  • Orders to the EU: Dispatched from our French warehouse near Paris using Colissimo’s tracked service. Your invoice will include VAT or sales tax according to your country’s VAT rate, with no extra duties or handling fees.
  • Orders to US – all shipped from our US warehouse in Ventura. California.

Order Notification

Once your order has been dispatched, we will email you with tracking information (if applicable), so you can monitor the progress of your shipment.

Shipping Timeframes

  • UK orders: Typically delivered within 3 days
  • EU orders: 7 – 10 days average
  • US orders: 10– 21 days average
  • Rest of the World inc. Canada: 7 – 17 days average

All orders are sent via tracked and signed-for services. Tracking numbers will be provided via email once your order is dispatched.

Shipping Costs

UK Shipping Costs:

  • Orders up to £16: £3.55
  • Orders over £16 and below £100: £6.50
  • Orders £100 and over: FREE SHIPPING

Overseas Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs will depend on the weight of your parcel and its destination. You will be informed of the shipping charges at checkout before entering your payment details.

Orders from the EU

  • EU Orders over £130 (€150): FREE SHIPPING
    VAT or sales tax will be included in your invoice based on your country’s rate, and there are no extra duties or handling charges.

Orders from ROW & including Canada (excluding EU & USA)

Please note that your invoice will not include UK VAT, but you may be liable for Import Duty in your home country, as well as potential handling charges. These charges will be collected by the courier or postal service responsible for delivering your parcel and may need to be paid before the parcel is released. The exact amount of these charges will depend on your country’s customs regulations.
