Just gorgeous (& it makes sense!)

Perfectly crafted & proportioned, this fits supplies & wet weather gear for a 200km belt about - proudly sported on the 2025 Chianti l'eroica ride across Tuscany with a lot of admiration from cyclists who know what matters - a shout out to the Carradice team: I placed my order LAST minute but they made sure it arrived in time (thank you!)

BTW: (on an unconnected note) still happily using Super panniers from 35-years ago. You don't get to say that much these days.

Excellent bag

I am so pleased with my new bag, high quality and just what I have been looking for. Deceptively roomy, perfect for a day out and enough room to fit, spare tube, e pump, battery pack, rain jacket, snacks, lock and more. I have been using the bag for a few weeks, contents remained dry after a couple of heavy downpours.

Riding with style

I love the traditional British Style with excellent quality and sufficient storage space for a compact bike bag!

Love this bag!

I ordered this bag to match my burgundy Carradice panniers and it really makes the bike “pop”. I get a lot of compliments on it. Also, I find the extra storage capacity right on my handlebar to be super convenient.

Iconic

Simply nice and functional with a lot of style. No-China-product is possible. Bike world should meet circular economy processes as Carradice do!

The best bag for my bikes

Having tried modern saddle-/bar bags I wasn't happy at all. Hard to fix and constantly becoming loose, these were really annoying. I ride mostly classic steel bikes and the look of the modern bags was not up to par. Then I tried my first Carradice saddle bag and I am amazed how valid and practical these "old tech" bags are still today. They simply work, have the ideal size and I am sure that I even could repair them myself if need be. Furthermore they absolutely look the part on my British frames. I might need a bigger bag somewhere down the road and it will be a Carradice for sure. Please keep up the good work and let those classic bag live into the future.
Cheers
Frank

Zipped roll saddlebag

Great bit of kit used on my main bike all year round for the past 9 / 10 years, through everything the English weather can throw at it, sits under my saddle and never moves.
As I've recently started commuting by bike again, I bought this to go on my commuter, to save switching them over from bike to bike.
Big enough to carry all my spares / tools and can stuff a rain jacket and enough snacks for a day ride.

Just what I needed

An extremely well made bag that holds everything I need for a day ride: snacks, spare tube, waterproof, mobile phone, and a small tool kit. The bag was easy to fit to my B17 saddle loops, keeps everything dry, and stays in place.
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Great little bag

Bought to attach to my townie commuter and it didn’t disappoint. Holds a u lock, keys, wallet, phone, extra water easily and will make a great bag for whenever I want to get out and it’s always on the saddle ready to go.

Well made classic saddle bag

This will house a tool kit, phone keys etc, spare inner tube/puncture repair kit and other items you may need on a bike ride. Really well made and looks great on my bike. Very nice item.

Perfect wee bag of

Bought one years ago. Has my waterproof poncho, tools, puncture kit, rear light hanging off the loop, phone….in fact, it has all the stuff I need when cycling with the family. I have relaxed it a couple of times and it’s now got the perfect patina. A great wee bag!

Perfect for a Brompton

As ever, excellent British made quality and ideal for the essentials.....tube, repair kit, patches and much more. I chose the red version and it is ideal as another "marker" to vehicle traffic.

Strongly recommended for day rides

I have been aware of the Zipped Roll for quite some time but never troubled to look at the dimensions and thought the carrying capacity simply looked inadequate. Then I saw one on a parked bike and realised that this was a false impression. I have used a Lightweight Audax in recent years and been happy with it, but the zipped roll is marginally lighter and does not require the Bagman steel support, which saves an amount of weight worth saving. Moreover it will take much more than I expected: my tool kit and a 650B inner tube together with a plastic sandwich box, with still room left for things like a small cable lock should I decide to take one with me. It also looks tremendously neat and retains a shape which is not that of a floppy saddle bag, which can be particularly floppy when largely empty. And the D rings allow a fleece to be carried externally. Some have reported issues with the press studs and I have noticed that, but found that if they can be gripped from both sides there is no problem. I still have my Lightweight Audax if I need it - I sometimes carry a GoPro and a chest harness, for example - but I have a feeling that the Zipped Roll will be on the bike most of the time.

An opinion.

A bit difficult to snap close after the zipper is closed.

Great small bag

I already had one of these Saddlebags but as I’ve now got a bike with a pannier rack but didn’t want full sized panniers I bought a second bag and fitted them on either side of the rack. The bags are strong, well made and have a nice traditional look to them. They are quite roomy and contain all of my essentials with space for more stuff if needed. The straps mean that they’re easy to fit.

Quality Saddle bag.

Great looking saddle bag. Good size and really suits the bike. The quality and craftmaship is all there and it's UK made which is a welcome change form all the usual Chinese made stuff. Good value quality item. Would highly recommned.
