"Well-built and spacious, though a bit bulky for my needs. I would have appreciated more size and color options. The shipping updates could also have been more timely. Overall, a good product that delivers on its promise."
Really suits my 1991 carbon Allez
Easy to fit with the saddle loops
Well chuffed with this
This is my first Carradice bag and I'm completely impressed. Fantastic construction, great style, and well-thought out. I've had several saddle bags from other brands that were too small or with not enough structure or didn't close securely enough.
This saddle bag has it all and the fire hose component replacing the leather are well done. The bag looks great with my Brooks Cambium saddle on my 1963 Raleigh Sports 3-speed, nicely rounding out the vintage look. Nice and big with plenty of room to put keys, wallet, phone, thermos of tea, and even a book! Looking forward to many years of use.
Nice bag! Obviously made to last, just the right size for tools and a few other bits, and vegan too!
Does everything I hoped for! Suitable for day rides and that extra bit of storage for multi-day rides!
I have been using this bog for weeks now it is incredibly stable and very roomy cares all my tools and drink miss and two jackets
Well, what a brilliant bag. I'm not normally given to writing reviews but this bag is just what I need and fits everything in for a decent day ride. So impressed I bought matching panniers. Keep up the good work.
This item is one of several Carradice products I have purchased over the years and am still impressed with the quality of design and manufacturing of them all and the attention to detail. Your workforce obviously have pride in their work.Just keep it up
Originals Zipped Roll Saddlebag (Animal-friendly)
I own and have owned several carradice bags including a previous zipped roll that I regretted selling. I use a super c audax bag for longer rides over 200km in winter, or when I need a bit more space, even light touring. As I recently bought a bagman QR I wanted a bag I could use but just hold tools, food and a spare jacket. This has plenty of room and I think the vegan version looks much better than leather straps, especially on a modern bike. Using the small plastic bagman clip (extra) instead of straps I can hook on bagman rack and fits well against it. It doesn't need support but means I can just leave rack on. This is a simple but almost perfect day bag, fits on bars too and I can use with the audax bag on back for bunkhouse trips. One star lost for pop studs... not easy to open on move and the rattle if you don't close them. Excellent quality compared to light cordura bags.
I like to carry a first-aid kit, extra long-sleeve jersey, digital camera, extra tube for tire, 18oz bottle, tools, map, patch kit and energy bar. This bag allows me to do it all, and that is without even lashing items to the exterior D-rings. Straps are plenty-tough. Straps are also made long-enough to afford maximum mounting flexibility. This bag ticks off all the boxes for a well-equipped day-trip.
