I've only used my Zipped roll as a handlebar bag, so my review maybe a little limited as never tried as a small saddlebag. For my needs it worked very well on the bars for a LEJOG ride and then occasion use since.

It is slow to fit and remove using simple loops, which also make the bar tops fairly inaccessible. But a Keswick on a Klickfix would be your option if you wanted that.

I also agree with the above that the press studs are not one hand use friendly, a Baja bikepacking bag would give the outer zip add on. Personally I like the robustness and longevity of the metal press studs and a plastic buckle or velcro as suggested for me would be a backwards step.

Nice well made bag of a good size to use as a second bag when touring, or as an alternative to a saddlebag on a day ride. Simple mounting options, but sometimes simple is all you need!

very stylish bag in an useful format. Will be curious about its waterproofness especially trough the mounting holes. Be aware that the provided (20cm) straps are only suited for saddle mounting. Get longer straps for handlebar use.

I really like this bag in general: look, size, feel and quality are nice. But I am not so happy with the poppers. They are difficult to close onehanded when the bag is not completely full. This makes it quite unpractical as a handlebar bag. And with the poppers opened they rattle and the flap might swing over due to headwind.
Maybe you can consider using another method to keep the flap in place:
Magnets?
long-lasting Velcro?.
Elastic band around a hook?
...

A superb saddle bag. Fits my bike saddle without a problem and holds plenty of gear without looking or feeling too bulky. Well-made; I wish I had bought of these sooner, rather than some of the inferior products out there. Happy to support British manufacturing as well.

Love every inch of this bag, it's bigger than I expected and very functional. Works and fits well with Brooks (B17 bag loops) Saddle. :D
