That extra bit of space

I set this up on an Old Man Mountain rack, which took a bit of fiddling with till i was happy. The hard feet on the bottom of the bag made it slide around so I removed them. All around a well built bag that just takes a little adjusting to fit your setup, as it’s a one fits most kind of item.

Retaining straps Super C Rackbag

On the CarraDura Rackbag the retaining straps use a buckle, whereas on the more expensive Super C Rackbag the retaining straps use Velcro. I can’t help wondering if the Velcro straps will degrade more quickly than the buckles on the CarraDura .

Rack Pack

Bought my first ‘Cadet’ saddlebag in 1983, I’ve still got it. My latest rack pack will probably last longer than I will!

Great quality handmade cycling bags.

Practical quality

I was going to buy Brompton's own bag for my folding bike BUT I know it wouldn't last like a Carradice Super C bag, nor would it be waterproof without having to stop and put a nylon cover over it. Highly practical bag ideal for the work commute. My son borrowed this for his hybrid bike when he cycles to work and loved its capacity, neat style and ease of use. I have bought some extra nylon straps and Buckles off this Carradice site to cheat a bit more room out of it for over enthusiastic shopping trip or extra clothing, which cost about £10. You can't beat Carradice - their bags live longer than a rich motherlaw 😁.

Lifetime gear

I bought my first junior saddlebag in 1983, it’s still going strong. Since then I’ve bought two longflaps, super C panniers and I’m now awaiting my sup C rack pack. Great gear. Lasts forever. Made in Lancs.
