A classic a relevant rack system for a proper saddle

This is my second saddlebag rack, the strap on the first eventually broke after 10 years. It holds my long suffering long flap extremely well. It’s used for commuting, weekends away and a lot of Audax. A tried and tested simple design.

Excellent bike rack. I use it interchangeably on two bikes each with a Brooks saddle. I have loaded this quite heavy over the years and one of the bisquit inserts is slightly bent but my fault and still attaches fine.
I like that it keeps bags away from the tyre, is much lighter than a standard frame mounted one, and detaches in seconds.
One of my most used bike-accessory after lights.

Worked well for me when commuting with a Lowsaddle longflap on a Brooks saddle. Puts the saddlebag in a good position and was fairly quick to fit and remove the bag/rack as a combination.

I upgraded to a Bagman due to the weight limit of this rack. Being fixed the saddle loops and not the saddle rails also felt slightly less stable.

Simple and fine for smaller loads / bags, but the Bagman is better for a heavier loaded or larger bag.

I have five classic lightweights so the convenience of being able to fit a saddle bag in seconds is first class.
It could be improved by weight with a Titanium version.
They would sell out.

A great rack which I have used for years on Brooks B17 saddles, for a Super C Audax bag. Well made, & securely holds the bag; it's also super convenient for removing & attaching quickly. Easy to swap between bikes with Brooks saddles with bag loops. I wound a bit of inner tube around the rack's contact points with the saddle rails. I highly recommend this rack.

An excellent rack for bags like the super c audax. It puts bag in best position and makes it easy to use... perfect on a Brooks B17. Shame the Cambium saddle can't accept the rack with its plastic saddle loops and I couldn't use the rack. If you have metal loops like a B17 this is perfect.
