Introducing Field Green. A New Heritage Colour

Introducing Field Green. A New Heritage Colour

Inspired by the landscapes that shaped Carradice from the very beginning, Field Green is the latest addition to our Heritage Collection of bike bags.

Rooted in the colours of hedgerows, bridleways, and open countryside, Field Green reflects the practical origins of Carradice.

Subtle, timeless, and unmistakably British, it sits naturally alongside traditional materials and classic designs.

Developed with Halley Stevenson

At the heart of the new range is a specially developed, 18oz Field Green fabric, created in partnership with leading material manufacturer Halley Stevenson of Dundee, Scotland.

Baltic Works, a historic 12,600m² factory in North-East Scotland, has been home to Halley Stevensons since 1864. Image: Halley Stevenson

Renowned for producing some of the world’s finest waxed cottons, Halley Stevenson’s heritage and expertise perfectly complement our own.

The result is a fabric that delivers exceptional durability, weather resistance and a rich, characterful finish that improves with age.

This is material designed to last, no matter when you ride and to look better the more it’s used.

Distinctive Heritage Detailing

On saddlebags, panniers and handlebar bags, Field Green is paired with deep burgundy leather straps, a nod to classic British touring aesthetics. and finished with a new brown binding that complements the fabric’s earthy tone.

Our aim with the colour was to ensure it felt reassuringly familiar, yet refreshingly new. It is a natural evolution of the Carradice Heritage identity: refined, practical, and built for real riding.
